Passage
by Students and Teachers of Last School
This book is the combined effort of the students and teachers at Last School.
An Education for "growth of consciousness and increasing perfectibility".
Taking an Art installation, Passage, prepared by a group of teenaged students of Auroville as illustration, Last School presents their educational growth and development. What is revealed is a vivid example of research in action - a seeking into the forms of Free Progress education - an approach The Mother spoke of as "a progress guided by the soul and not subjected to habits, conventions and preconceived ideas".
