Hasi Grandcolas
In the early hours of Tuesday 19 September, Hasi Grandcolas, long-term Indian friend of Auroville, passed away at Nallam’s Clinic in Pondicherry due to heart failure.
Hashi had been an Ashramite in the seventies, managing a guest house and functioning as captain at the Ashram sports ground, and remained a steadfast sadhika all her life. Partly living in Mumbai, Paris, Auroville and Pondicherry throughout the years, she was a lively yoga teacher and dedicated painter, and a good friend of many in Ashram, Auroville and the Auroville International world.
The Sri Aurobindo Ashram took care of her last rites.
Be well, dear Hashi, we will meet again!
