Auroville Board of Services (ABS)
The Auroville Board of Services (ABS) is composed of the managers of all services, with a focus on providing essential services as a part of Auroville’s basic material support for its residents, and deals with a wide variety of issues related to community services and socio-economic matters.
A major area of its work is in promoting Mother’s vision of an in-kind economy within Auroville, and services which are fully or partly funded directly by the City Services budget. Another task of ABS is in cultivating collaboration between people working in related areas of service work, so that experience and resources are better shared for the benefit of all.
